I disagree with NSPS why change something if it is not broke. The way it is now is fare and right. Under NSPS a supervisor can fire or demote you if they don't like the color of your hair. It is going to go back to the good old boy's system. Why not let employee's get promoted because of how good of a worker they are rather than because of how much their boss likes them or who their friends or relatives are. Some of us have pride in what we do but under the new system that will not make a difference, it will only count if our boss likes us or not. I love my job and I like being a good employee but under these new rules it will make it hard for good employees to be happy in their jobs and what is going on around them. Some supervisors will take total advantage of their new power and treat people unfairly and employee's won't have the Union their to make sure these things are not happening. Managers need something their to keep them in line so that employee's aren't mistreated. I think that you should take a nother look at NSPS and see that it is not in our best interest.
