I have been a federal employee for 4 years and I have always appreciated change, but NSPS scares me. Though nothing is perfect, I am content with the current system in place. I am loyal to my supervisor, as well as the organization, however, I don't feel she recipricates when it comes to individual progression. Therefore, my hard work isn't rewarded and, moreover, my less dedicated co workers work is recognized as equal. How will "Pay for Performance" benefit me, if it is already apparent my supervisor does not want to recognize employees individual accomplishments? Currently, I have some say in my career path, with NSPS my supervisor will dictate how far I will go. I also don't understand why the specifics haven't been addressed, we will wake up one morning and have to live with a decision that almost half of the country did not vote for. Thank you.
