Subpart B: If you lump a lot of jobs under one classification, how will anyone know what job they are to do and what skills that are needed. Subpart C. Our pay has always been based on our preformance. There is no real details description on how this is going to work. If I ran my life like this, it would be a disaster. Subpart D: Bosses have always had the last say in our our performance. The change would give the boss who doesn't like you a thumb to keep you down and cause discontent among the employees. Subpart E: What is wrong with the system we have now. I have worked with some new hires that I could tell would not work out within a month and I had to endure them for 90 days. Lets do not prolong the torture. Subpart F: If you take away our senority or put it last, you could lose a lot of expertise. If we can not use previous job experience to mantain a job with the government, the person with the expertise can not be reinstated to their previous job. Subpart G: The military personnel have rights to argue a dispute. You want to take the civilian employee and make him work in a dictatorship. You will not get many people wanting to work for the government if you take away to right to argue a dispute. Subpart H: The right to appeal is in the judical system. You want people to work for the government and lose that right. Not many would work for the government if they knew that was going to happen. Subpart I: What is going to happen to our rights as government employees. DoD doesn't have to follow the law that our Congress has passed. The DoD needs to have they all their ducks in a row before they try to take civilian employees rights. They need to have everything spelled out in black and white. They need to answer the Congress's questions. It is dirty dealings that the DoD is pulling to put this in an appropriation bill for our military. I would tell Congress to veto the bill until they civilian employees rights are maintained.
