1. I believe it is very critical to have a set of performance standards which is fairly set up. Currently, the performance stardards are very poorly set up. For example, 'customer service' is weighted the same as 'assist others'. An employee takes many initiative action to provide satisfactory customer service is weighted the same as an employee just spends time to key in some adjusting entries for co-workers. It appears that the performance standards should be set up by outside CPA firms. 2. Supervisors's fairness is also critical to the success of this new system. In numerous situations, some employees who fail to provide good customer service and chat all the day during working hours are those who keep good relationships with supervisors. Thus, they will not be punished for their behavior.
