Comments:
Section 9901.231 addresses conversion and states that there will be no pay reductions at the time of conversion. It fails, however, to address those of us who will have spent substantial time in grade at a specific step, and are looking forward to a near term step increase. I would suggest that a pro rata salary increase be implemented based on the time in grade at the time of conversion, otherwise that time would be lost toward a pay increase that would otherwise have been granted under the existing system.
